There are topical medications, a new class of oral medications, and also collars. Depending on what your pet needs, these options can provide effective prevention.

It depends on your pet, but we typically recommend oral chewables.

How can I identify fleas on my dog?

Fleas like to hide right on their back, near the tail. This is a hard area for dogs to reach, and fleas like to set up camp there. Look through the fur; if you see what looks like dirt, it might be flea poop. If you find any dirt-like substance, we recommend bringing your dog in for a checkup.

How can I identify ticks on my dog?

Ticks can sometimes be confused with skin tags. They are usually gray and can be engorged if they've been feeding. If you have any concerns, bring your dog in for an examination.
